Now I know

I never really knew why authors sometimes say that it took years to right one book regardless of how short it was.

I always wondered why but never thought of asking an author why it takes so long to write a book.

it was just one of those left unknown questions that you tend To have in life from time to time.

After many years of not know I can honestly say that now I know the answer to that question.

Between managing everyday life, responsibilities and having to make sure you eat, sleep and have good hygiene and your mental health is okay, you also have to think of book ideas and make sure the story is playing out how you want it. You have to make sure that the book cover is attractive enough to catch readers attention but at the same time stay true to your own likes for the book.

As someone who decided to start this journey alone without a publicist and without having the finances to pay for professional editors, cover creators and marketers I can now fully understand how much goes into creating and putting a book out into the universe for the world to see.

I appreciate all of my fellow writers out there and I send positive encouraging vibes to all of you. This journey isn’t easy but putting your imaginative thoughts to paper is fun.

Im grateful that I am able to put the effort into this journey and that fellow authors and book lovers have showed me so much support on my journey.
