My first experience face painting at a party

Had my first experience face painting yesterday and I must say the experience was interesting and fun.

I learned:

I should always bring regular makeup with me as well because eyeliner looks with water based face paint just doesn’t work well.

When you set no limit as to what design to do, very detailed characters would be requested and all details won’t fit on their tiny cheeks (my son taught me this with his Rathalos monster hunters, I laughed at the outcome but my son liked it so that’s what matters.) I also did a requested sponge bob and it came out cool for my first time doing it and the little boy was happy with it and his father even gave me my first ever earned tip.

I also learned that for very small kids character work on the cheek that requires the line detailing is not a great option because they move a lot lol.

Over all my experience was good and I can’t wait to get in more practice face painting others.
